Salary: USD 120,000 - 140,000 / annual
Cordial is a marketing technology platform founded in 2014 that helps brands communicate more thoughtfully with customers through email, SMS, and mobile apps. The company serves enterprise clients including PacSun, Revolve, Abercrombie & Fitch, and Realtor.com.
As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will be the Cordial subject matter expert responsible for guiding clients through successful platform implementations, third-party integrations, and complex use cases. Your core responsibilities include:
• Consulting directly with clients as a platform expert, helping them understand new features and align product capabilities with business goals
• Leading implementations of Cordial's RESTful API and JavaScript Snippet into clients' marketing stacks
• Identifying technical issues, recognizing patterns, and designing repeatable solutions and documentation
• Enabling clients to leverage dynamic scripting for email/SMS/push and machine learning capabilities
• Designing data structures that integrate gracefully into Cordial's object model
• Managing internal stakeholders and external client expectations on project timelines
• Collaborating with Product, Client Success, Strategy, Support, and Sales teams to drive adoption and exceed client goals
• Creating comprehensive documentation and project records for team and client success
You will work in a dynamic, autonomous startup environment where you manage multiple concurrent projects of varying complexity and business priority.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or closely related field
• Minimum 4 years of professional services experience
• Proven track record driving successful implementations and managing client projects
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON data structures
• Proficiency reading/writing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with PHP or other programming languages
• Comfortable using Browser Developer Tools
• Understanding of SQL vs. NoSQL databases
• Ability to handle difficult technical issues and complex business challenges while remaining calm
• Confidence working with senior-level marketers, IT/systems integrators, and marketing technology partners
• Strong project management skills managing multiple concurrent initiatives
• Ability to navigate and collaborate across organizational functions
• Experience in dynamic, startup environments
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience in enterprise marketing automation, email marketing, or digital marketing industries
• Enterprise client experience
