As a Senior Solutions Architect in Professional Services, you will be responsible for delivering enterprise-class solutions to customers and partners worldwide. You will be an integral component of the delivery and installation process for WEKA products, guiding customers through initial onboarding. You will plan and install products, define, develop, and test automation to ensure fast, predictable, scalable, and easy deployment experiences for customers and partners. Your focus will be on customers throughout the US.
You will manage relationships with WEKA Sales, Pre-Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and other internal groups, as well as customers and partners globally. You'll work with diverse customers across many industries and environments, implementing AI, HPC, and state-of-the-art WEKA environments both on-premises and in public cloud.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the complete customer experience from product sale through full production deployment, ensuring positive onboarding
- Managing installation projects including risk assessment, planning, deployment scheduling, and status reporting
- Documenting solution details with diagrams and specifications, translating undefined requirements into end-to-end solutions
- Utilizing open-source technologies and tools for specific use cases
- Writing code or scripts to solve problems and create custom workflows
- Collaborating with project stakeholders to scope effective approaches to complex infrastructure challenges
- Performing incremental testing on code, processes, and deployments to streamline execution and minimize errors
- Deploying and managing AI/HPC infrastructure in Linux-based environments for new and existing customers

REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong focus on customer experience
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
- Knowledge of best practices and IT operations within enterprise environments, focusing on mission-critical infrastructure
- Experience with automation tools/cluster management (Ansible, Salt, Puppet, Bright, Jenkins, xcat)
- Knowledge and experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Perl)
- Experience with source code control systems (GitHub, git)
- Experience with Ethernet or InfiniBand networking, particularly 100+Gb networks
- Experience with performance monitoring/tuning Linux systems
- Experience with HPC environments and HPC cluster management tools
- Experience with parallel filesystems (Lustre, GPFS/SpectrumScale, DDN)
- Familiarity with software-defined storage (SDS)
- Hands-on administration/operation knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized workloads
- Hands-on experience in Linux systems administration
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent working experience
- Strong interpersonal skills for technical presentations, architectural designs, and trusted advisor relationships (sales, consulting, or customer success experience preferred)
- Ability to provide ad-hoc knowledge transfers, develop handover materials, and guide customers during deployments
- Willingness to travel as needed
