WEKA is architecting a new approach to the enterprise data stack built for the age of reasoning. NeuralMesh by WEKA sets the standard for agentic AI data infrastructure with a cloud and AI-native software solution deployable anywhere. The company transforms legacy data silos into data pipelines that dramatically increase GPU utilization and make AI model training, inference, machine learning, and compute-intensive workloads run faster, more efficiently, and consume less energy.
As a Senior Solutions Architect in Professional Services, you will be responsible for delivering enterprise-class solutions to customers and partners worldwide, with a focus on the APAC region. You will be an integral component of the delivery and installation process for WEKA products, guiding customers through initial onboarding and ensuring a fast, predictable, scalable, and easy deployment experience. You will work with diverse customers across many industries and environments, implementing AI, HPC, and state-of-the-art WEKA environments both on-premises and in public cloud.
Key responsibilities include: managing the complete customer experience from product sale through full production deployment; overseeing installation projects including risk assessment, planning, deployment scheduling, and status reporting; documenting solution details with diagrams and specifications; translating undefined requirements into end-to-end solutions; utilizing open-source technologies and tools for specific use cases; writing code or scripts to solve problems with custom workflows; collaborating with stakeholders to address complex technological infrastructure challenges; performing incremental testing on code, processes, and deployments; and deploying and managing AI/HPC infrastructure in Linux-based environments.
You will maintain relationships with WEKA Sales, Pre-Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and other internal groups, as well as customers and partners worldwide. The role requires strong customer focus, excellent communication, and the ability to serve as a trusted technical advisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong focus on customer experience
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
- Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in enterprise environments, focusing on mission-critical infrastructure
- Experience with automation tools/cluster management (Ansible, Salt, Puppet, Bright, Jenkins, xcat)
- Knowledge and experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Perl)
- Experience with source code control systems (GitHub, git)
- Experience with Ethernet or InfiniBand networking, particularly 100+Gb networks
- Experience with performance monitoring/tuning of Linux systems
- Experience with HPC environments and HPC cluster management tools
- Experience with parallel filesystems (Lustre, GPFS/SpectrumScale, DDN)
- Familiarity with software-defined storage (SDS)
- Hands-on administration/operation knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized workloads
- Hands-on experience in Linux systems administration
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent working experience
- Strong interpersonal skills for technical presentations, architectural designs, and serving as trusted advisor (sales, consulting, or customer success experience preferred)
- Ability to provide ad-hoc knowledge transfers, develop handover materials, and guide customers during deployments
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese
