As a Senior Software Product Engineer, you'll join the Product & Engineering team reporting directly to Guillaume (CPTO). This is a unique hybrid role: you'll embed deeply within business teams (actuarial, legal, accounting) to understand their workflows, regulatory constraints, and pain points, then build AI-augmented tools that multiply their productivity.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct user research (interviews, observation, process analysis) to identify high-impact problems and own your backlog prioritization based on business value
- Translate business needs into concise specs and documented architecture decisions
- Develop, test, and deploy end-to-end solutions with production-grade quality (code review, testing, monitoring, documentation)
- Leverage AI agents (Claude Code, etc.) as velocity multipliers and integrate AI directly into the tools you build—automation, extraction, generation, domain-specific agents
- Define success metrics with business stakeholders, measure adoption and impact, and iterate rapidly based on data and feedback
- Reuse existing Seyna platform components with Product & Engineering teams, identify what should be industrialized, and share AI-augmented build methods across the organization
You'll work in 2-week sprints, moving from discovery through production deployment, with a focus on shipping fast without accumulating technical debt.
Requirements:
- Full-stack development proficiency in TypeScript (React, Node.js) on AWS and GitHub; production-grade code quality
- Strong engineering discipline: thoughtful architecture, testing, code review, monitoring, and documentation as core practices
- AI-native mindset: code agents are part of your daily workflow; ability to integrate AI into useful products
- User research and discovery skills: interviewing, observation, problem formulation before coding
- Fast learner who enjoys diving into unfamiliar domains
- Impact-oriented: measure what you ship and use data to inform next steps
- Ability to solve complex problems and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders without formal authority
- Bonus: prior experience writing specs and managing product backlogs in a PM-like role
