You will join the Travel Integrations team, part of Rippling's Spend Suite (which includes corporate cards, expense management, procurement, and bill pay). The Travel team is building the next frontier of integrated corporate spending solutions, working to create the best travel management platform for employees, finance teams, and travel managers.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with Product Management and cross-functional Engineering teams (Frontend, UX, etc.) to maintain high quality standards in a fast-paced, iterative environment
- Build features that solve technical problems of high scope and complexity
- Translate high-level business requirements into software designs and communicate them to the team
- Participate in planning activities, perform code reviews, and contribute to team growth
- Provide mentorship to Junior and Intermediate Engineers, helping them grow technically and remove blockers to their autonomy
- Wear a product manager hat when needed to drive impact
Requirements:
- Minimum 6+ years of programming experience
- Strong computer science fundamentals
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in performing duties
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments by identifying areas of impact and independently pursuing them
- Preferred experience with Go, Python, Django, MongoDB, and AWS
- Experience in the travel domain is a plus
