We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in React Native Mobile to join our Engineering team. This role will help shape strategic architecture decisions while building, deploying, and supporting enhancements to our digital banking platform. You will partner closely with the Lead Architect, React Native Mobile Architect, UX/UI designers, server-side engineers, and other Engineering leads to deliver highly configurable, extensible, and intuitive mobile experiences.
The ideal candidate combines deep React Native expertise with hands-on coding ability, sound architectural judgment, and a practical approach to solving complex problems in an Agile environment. You will develop highly configurable, extensible, and pluggable React Native applications and collaborate with UX/UI designers to create clean, intuitive user interface components.
Key responsibilities include architecting and developing React Native mobile applications, collaborating across design and backend teams, and contributing to technical strategy for the mobile platform.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3–5 years of extensive React Native experience, including native code components
- Working knowledge of ReactJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, iOS Swift/Objective-C, CocoaPods, Android Kotlin/Java, and Node.js
- Hands-on experience with Xcode, Android Studio, and Visual Studio Code
- Experience with mobile application CI/CD and publishing tools (Apple App Store Connect, TestFlight, Google Play Store, Firebase Console, App Tester, Azure, Bitrise, GitHub Actions)
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and stay motivated
- Ability to break down complex problems and communicate clear, easy-to-understand solutions and code examples
- Open-minded approach to applying reusable web concepts in native applications
