Filigran is a fast-growing cybersecurity company founded in October 2022, trusted by over 6,000 public and private organizations worldwide. The company develops innovative open-source solutions for proactive cyber threat management using AI and emerging technologies.
You will join the new XTM One team as a Senior Software Engineer, reporting to the Engineering Manager. XTM One is Filigran's AI-Native Threat Informed Defense platform designed to create and run cybersecurity expert AI Agents, hosting datasets and configurations leveraged across the XTM Suite. You'll be one of the first hires in this new squad, helping shape the technical vision and architecture of a state-of-the-art product.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and build a clean, scalable full-stack application deployable as both SaaS and On-Premise solutions using TypeScript and Python
- Architect complex visualization flows, advanced logging capabilities, and agent configuration systems
- Refine software architecture to integrate seamlessly with Filigran's AI team
- Iterate rapidly on prototypes, comfortable with refactoring as product vision evolves based on user feedback
- Engage with the open-source community on GitHub and Slack, answering user questions
- Participate in creating development processes and team culture as part of the founding squad
- Collaborate with the VP of Tech, CTO, and AI team on technical standards and ecosystem integration (OpenCTI, OpenAEV, OpenGRC)
You will balance rapid iteration with code quality, acting not just as an implementer but as a key contributor to product vision and solving complex challenges.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Senior-level experience in full-stack development with strong proficiency in TypeScript and Python
- Architectural mindset with ability to think critically about software design
- Experience with generative AI frameworks (Agentic systems, RAG, LLM usage, potentially MCP servers)
- Proven track record launching projects and navigating uncertainty
- Equally comfortable with frontend (building intuitive wizards for complex configurations) and backend (API design, permission models)
- Proficiency in English and French
- Bonus: Familiarity with Cyber Threat Intelligence standards (STIX/TAXII, MITRE ATT&CK framework)
- Bonus: Experience contributing to or maintaining open-source projects
