Claroty Public Sector LLC is a rapidly expanding cybersecurity company dedicated to securing mission-critical infrastructure systems that society's safety and stability depend on. The company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Public Sector R&D organization, specifically embedded within the Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) Platform team.
In this role, you will serve as a bridge between complex Federal customer environments and core engineering teams. Your responsibilities will be divided between two key areas: (1) high-priority incident troubleshooting and replication, including deep-dive root cause analysis (RCA) and reverse engineering of production issues in staging environments; and (2) core feature development for the flagship SaaS platform.

This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong problem-solving skills, the ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues, and expertise in writing high-quality production code. The role emphasizes mission-driven work protecting critical infrastructure and ensuring essential services remain resilient.
The position is remote (US-based) with EST timezone preference and minimal travel (less than 10% annually). The company values People First, Customer Obsession, Strive for Excellence, and Integrity.
Requirements: The posting does not explicitly state years of experience or formal education requirements. However, the role is positioned as Senior level, indicating expectation of substantial prior software engineering experience, proficiency in Python and/or Go, demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and root cause analysis, and experience with backend systems and SaaS platforms.
