Salary: USD 158,000 - 190,000 / annual

The Platform Infrastructure team builds shared platform capabilities that enable engineers across ezCater to ship quality software reliably, safely, and quickly. This role focuses on backend services, APIs, infrastructure components, and distributed systems that power the entire organization.
You will build internal developer platforms, shared services, and libraries supporting integrations and core platform capabilities. You'll design reliable backend systems for cross-domain business flows and operationally critical use cases. Working cross-functionally with product, security, and engineering peers, you'll transform ambiguous problems into well-scoped, high-quality deliverables. You own quality through testing, observability, safe rollout practices, and production issue investigation. You'll adopt a self-service mindset to improve developer velocity and reduce operational toil.
The role offers remote-hybrid flexibility: work from the Boston office, your home, or a mixture of both.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of strong software engineering experience building backend systems and APIs in production
- Experience in Go
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Service mesh (Istio), Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tools, and CI/CD systems
- Comfort with workflow orchestration, event-driven architectures, and operational complexity
- Experience with observability tooling (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar)
- Experience building shared platform capabilities used by multiple teams or products
- Strong quality mindset across CI/CD, telemetry, and production ownership
