As a Senior Software Engineer focused on Identity, you will work on backend systems handling petabytes of cloud assets across Fortune 1000 customers. Your responsibilities include:
**Core Responsibilities:**
- Design and own new product features end-to-end, collaborating with product managers to finalize requirements and scope
- Work with data scientists to optimize machine learning models for massive-scale production deployment
- Leverage cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) to fetch, process, and derive insights from large datasets
- Research and implement innovative approaches to processing big data into actionable security insights
- Optimize for resource efficiency—both cost and runtime—across all systems
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in data pipelines and production workflows
- Automate and orchestrate processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual overhead
- Enhance production monitoring and observability to detect and respond to issues quickly
- Prioritize customer needs and impact; focus on high-value features over comprehensive but low-impact work
**Technical Environment:**
The team uses TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, Kubernetes, Kafka, TypeORM, Jest, and microservices architecture. You'll work across databases, cloud infrastructure, virtual machines, cloud security, identity management, data security, and performance optimization.
