Salary: USD 128,842 - 232,200 / annual
Braze is a leading customer engagement platform that empowers brands to deliver personalized, AI-driven customer experiences at scale. The Core Objects team owns the foundational data structures that power Braze's product offering and enable customers to implement their most innovative engagement strategies.
In this role, you will work on significant engineering challenges including extending Braze's high-scale ingestion pipeline to handle new and advanced data objects, optimizing performance and cost, and owning complex backend systems that enable the entire product offering. The team extensively integrates AI into its daily workflow, using agentic tools to navigate the large Ruby monolith, create proof of concepts, and transition quickly and safely from requirements to working solutions. AI is leveraged across all stages of product delivery to enhance the team's ability to deliver high-quality results more efficiently.
You'll be a senior fullstack engineer contributing to the design and implementation of new exciting projects in extending and building Core Objects systems and features. REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience
- Experienced technical leader
- Strong understanding of design, data structures, and algorithms
- Self-starter with great communication and organizational skills
- Experience working in team environments
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS:
- Professional experience building software at scale
- Professional experience with one or more of: Ruby, Ruby on Rails, React, Go, SQL, NoSQL databases, distributed systems, API design/monitoring/best practices
- Experience with agile processes
- Passion for customer experience
