As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will be a key driver in building Cognite's products end-to-end, from intuitive user-facing applications to the APIs and services that power them. You'll take ownership of complex features from ideation to deployment, designing solutions that are engaging, secure, and scalable across the entire stack.
Key responsibilities include:
- Work with a wide range of systems, processes, and technologies, owning and solving problems end-to-end
- Collaborate in a fast-paced environment with different stakeholders and subject matter experts
- Use fullstack development skills to build tools that extract key information from documents and connect data, enabling users to maximize value from industrial data
- Design and implement elegant APIs, user experiences, and underlying infrastructure that leverage smart algorithms and AI
- Be actively involved in setting product and technical direction
- Work closely with skilled users to understand their needs and build products to help them succeed
- Raise the quality bar through code reviews and mentoring of fellow engineers
- Ensure shipping of seamless, reliable experiences for users

Requirements:
- 6+ years of fullstack software engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar, or equivalent experience
- Hands-on experience with Python and a Python backend framework (FastAPI, Flask, or Django); Kotlin experience is a plus
- Front-end experience with React, Angular, Vue, or similar frameworks; solid grasp of JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience with cloud platforms: Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and/or AWS
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, Docker, and related technologies
- Experience with distributed open-source software such as Kubernetes, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, or similar
- Strong commitment to unit testing, integration testing, and E2E testing
- Ability to write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code while maintaining codebase quality
- Passion for emerging web technologies
- Experience with prompt engineering and integrating with large language models (e.g., langchain, fabric)
