Antithesis is reinventing software reliability by running entire software systems inside a deterministic simulation to identify bugs and their root causes with perfect reproductions. The company addresses the growing verification bottleneck created by AI-generated code, which can produce output faster than humans but often with quality issues that slip through review.
You will join the engineering team as a Full Stack Engineer focused on the Notebook—a reactive computing platform that serves as the foundation for all Antithesis UX. This role blends deeply technical work with product-focused responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Improving a reactive engine for executing JavaScript (conceptually similar to Jupyter with automatic recalculation)
- Owning features end-to-end, from frontend to data layer, including extending the custom database, proxy, or API server as needed
- Creating Property Based Tests and Antithesis workloads to validate your work
- Collaborating with product managers on feature design and scoping
- Developing build and deployment logic using Nix
The role requires strong technical fundamentals and the ability to work across the full stack. You'll be working on one of the most consequential problems in software reliability—solving the verification bottleneck that impacts how AI-generated and human-written code reaches production.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience building complex, customer-facing products
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript and willingness to learn Rust
- Solid programming background in algorithms and data structures
- Experience building static and dynamic websites
- Understanding of how the internet and browsers work
- Bonus: experience with Nix
- Bonus: ideas about leveraging AI effectively
- Bonus: prior experience with Property-Based Testing (PBT)
