You will join the Frontend Engineering team as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to the development of customer-facing web applications that power Justworks' product suite. This role involves both internal and public-facing applications, with a focus on delivering high-quality user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and clarify requirements for frontend features and capabilities
- Partner with team leads to design and implement clean, effective, on-brand user experiences
- Implement designs with high fidelity and attention to detail
- Research design patterns and propose technical solutions to common web UI/UX problems
- Write, test, and deploy modern web applications
- Contribute to hiring and development of the growing frontend team
- Mentor and guide team members through code review and knowledge sharing
You will be expected to exercise good judgment in problem-solving, demonstrate resourcefulness in overcoming obstacles, communicate effectively across teams, and foster a collaborative environment. Technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue 3, Vite, PostCSS, Playwright, Node.js, Fastify, Golang, MySQL, AWS, Git.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7+ years of professional frontend development experience
- Mastery of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and at least one modern framework (React, Vue, or equivalent)
- Working knowledge of at least one server-side language (Ruby, Python, Golang, or similar)
- Strong sense for design and user experience
- Ability to build reliable, modular systems that support team collaboration
- Experience with performance and security considerations in customer-facing applications
