Salary: USD 188,000 - 242,000 / annual
Justworks is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Frontend to join its Engineering team in New York. You will develop frontend web applications for both internal and public use, focusing on delivering products and capabilities that power Justworks' HR and benefits platform.
In this role, you will gather requirements, partner with your team lead to produce clean and effective user experiences, implement designs with high fidelity, research design patterns and propose technical solutions to common web UI/UX problems, and contribute to coding, testing, and deploying modern web applications. You will also help hire and develop the growing frontend team.
You will work primarily in JavaScript/TypeScript and leverage your experience with customer-facing applications, designing with performance and security in mind. The tech stack includes JS, TS, Vue 3, Vite, PostCSS, Playwright, Node, Fastify, Golang, MySQL, AWS, and Git.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in frontend development
- Mastery of JS/HTML/CSS and at least one framework (React, Vue, etc.)
- Working knowledge of at least one server-side language (Ruby, Python, Golang, etc.)
