UiPath is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Document Understanding platform team. This role focuses on building robust, scalable solutions for processing and understanding both structured and unstructured documents in enterprise settings.
You will develop high-performance components, identify and resolve bugs and bottlenecks, and apply engineering best practices to solve complex document understanding challenges. Your work will span the full development lifecycle: architecting solutions, writing production code, designing comprehensive test coverage (unit, integration, and end-to-end), and collaborating with distributed teams across multiple locations to deliver world-class document processing capabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Architecting and engineering large-scale commercial applications and services
- Developing robust, performant code with a focus on scalability and reliability
- Writing unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end automation to maintain code quality
- Working with globally distributed engineering teams to innovate in document understanding
- Applying modern engineering practices including agile development, CI/CD, and DevOps

REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of proven experience architecting and engineering large-scale commercial applications and services
- Proficiency in one or more system-level programming languages (C#, Java, Python, Rust, or similar)
- Experience with cloud ecosystems (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and architectural design patterns
- Deep knowledge of multithreading, synchronization, asynchronous programming, and cloud programming concepts
- Solid grasp of data structures and algorithms
- Familiarity with modern engineering practices: agile development, CI/CD, DevOps
- Ability to work effectively with globally distributed teams
- Strong teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills
NICE TO HAVE:
- .NET framework and C# experience
- Familiarity with document processing and OCR technologies
- Windows Presentation Framework experience
- Full-stack development background
