Salary: USD 190,000 - 252,000 / annual

You will join a small, innovative software engineering team focused on battlespace awareness. Your responsibilities include:
• Contribute to team direction with your expertise and ideas
• Prototype state-of-the-art software solutions in an agile development environment
• Implement high-performance software spanning tactical systems to web applications
• Use high-fidelity modeling, simulation environments, and analysis tools to quantify technology benefits
• Engage directly with government and industry customers to ensure mission-critical outcomes
• Work across all aspects of the software development lifecycle
• Communicate technical work clearly to colleagues and customers
You will work on research that extends beyond academic papers to real-world deployment in mission-critical systems. The role emphasizes bringing cutting-edge technology to military customers in months rather than years.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, physics, engineering, or other technical field (advanced degree strongly preferred)
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and Matlab
• Experience with big data, NoSQL, and database technologies
• Strong software engineering fundamentals: design, algorithm implementation, analysis, testing, and optimization
• Machine learning expertise: supervised and unsupervised learning, clustering, classification
• Applied mathematics: differential equations, linear algebra, optimization, statistics, random processes
• Engineering knowledge: controls, estimation theory, digital signal processing
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance
