Bankrate, a Red Ventures portfolio company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable systems that power Bankrate's digital experiences. You will operate with strong autonomy, bringing deep technical judgment to complex problems and shaping architecture and engineering standards across the organization.
In this role, you will design and implement scalable systems within a team or product area, contribute to the evolution of technical architecture and engineering patterns, and build and optimize continuous delivery pipelines to improve deployment speed and reliability. A key part of this role is mentoring engineers through code reviews, pair programming, design discussions, and collaborative problem-solving. You'll contribute to the definition and improvement of team-level engineering practices and technical standards, and evaluate tools, techniques, and technologies that could improve team and business outcomes.
