Salary: USD 151,100 - 202,100 / annual
Conduit Tech, a team within ServiceTitan, is building software tools to enable the clean energy workforce—starting with HVAC design, sales, and installation software. The company works with over 300 HVAC companies across 35+ US states, generating direct product feedback and revenue while helping mitigate grid strain and reduce home energy consumption.
You will own entire features from planning through deployment, focusing on backend development. Responsibilities include updating data models based on user feedback, building reliable integrations with external service APIs, debugging production issues, maintaining application security and performance, and writing clear documentation. You'll work in a collaborative environment with pair programming, huddles, and cross-functional collaboration with product and design teams.
The team ships incrementally and often, tests thoroughly with automation, values thoughtful communication, and trusts engineers to manage their own time and priorities without micromanagement.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Serious Python skills for APIs, reporting, and data processing (Django and Celery experience required)
- Experience with relational databases and ORMs (PostgreSQL with Django's ORM required)
- Track record of shipping complex features end-to-end
- Ability to balance speed with quality
- Collaborative approach and strong communication skills
- US residence and work authorization
NICE-TO-HAVES:
- Django and PostgreSQL expertise
- TypeScript/JavaScript and web development knowledge
- AWS, Terraform, and Docker experience
- History of improving development processes and tools
