Salary: USD 250,000 - 450,000 / annual

Roboflow Labs is the company's applied research unit, training open models, building benchmarks grounded in enterprise use cases, and partnering with frontier labs to deliver training data. As a Senior Software Engineer at Roboflow Labs, you will own the end-to-end data platform that transforms frontier lab data requests into shipped, quality-checked deliveries.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, build, and own the Labs data platform end to end: client-facing catalog and delivery portal, contributor-facing collection and payout tooling, and the shared data foundation
- Build delivery pipelines that ingest, validate, package, and ship datasets with proper provenance, rights tracking, and audit trails required by frontier lab procurement teams
- Automate quality assurance through consensus mechanisms, review routing, fraud and duplicate detection, and metrics that make dataset quality visible before customer delivery
- Partner with Strategic Projects Leads and operators to convert each new delivery into reusable infrastructure rather than one-off solutions
- Integrate with Roboflow's core platform and open-source tooling so Labs benefits from and contributes back to the product used by millions of developers
- Set the engineering bar for a new team through architecture decisions, code review standards, observability, and on-call and release practices that enable reliable shipping
Roboflow is a fully distributed company with hubs in San Francisco, New York City, Singapore, and Brazil. Roboflow Labs operates in-person in San Francisco, with full company retreats twice per year.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 6+ years building production software with real depth in backend systems, data pipelines, or full-stack engineering
- Experience designing systems that process large volumes of data reliably
- Strong product judgment
- Nice to have: experience with annotation or human-data platforms, marketplaces with payouts, ML training data pipelines, or computer vision tooling
