Salary: USD 116,475 - 174,713 / annual
OneTrust is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the R&D team working on mission-critical applications for the AI-Ready Governance Platform. In this role, you will report to the Development Manager / R&D Head and contribute across all phases of the software development lifecycle. Your responsibilities include writing well-designed, testable, and efficient code; ensuring designs comply with specifications; owning code in production by responding to incidents and participating in retrospectives; preparing and producing software releases; triaging production incidents with speed; and supporting continuous improvement by investigating alternative technologies and presenting them for architectural review.
OneTrust operates an office-first culture with expectations of three days per week in the office for most roles, though specific requirements may vary by position.
**Requirements:**
- BE/BTech/MS degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
- Experience in software application development using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and Hibernate
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and system design patterns
- Strong understanding of database design, SQL, and OS fundamentals
