Okta is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its infrastructure and DevOps team in Bengaluru. You will work on building, maintaining, and improving Okta's highly-automated build, release, and testing infrastructure that powers the company's cloud identity platform.
In this role, you will focus on scripting, tools-building, and automation to support continuous delivery pipelines. You'll collaborate with Development, QA, and Operations teams to innovate and enhance build and CI/CD systems. The team runs tens of thousands of tests per commit automatically, and you'll help tackle the challenge of reducing compute time from days to minutes through infrastructure optimization.
You will experiment with and implement new technologies from AWS, work with internal customers to roll out projects and processes, and gather feedback to continuously improve tooling and workflows. The engineering culture emphasizes individual ownership, test-driven development, and a weekly release cycle.

**Requirements:**
- 3+ years of experience with one or more programming languages: Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript
- Good understanding of application development, microservices architecture, and multi-service ecosystems
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional work toward task completion
- Past experience working with AWS or Kubernetes
- Good understanding of virtualization, dynamic provisioning, Docker, AWS, and Linux
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
- Understanding of Agile methodologies is a plus
- Experience with Kubernetes is a plus
