As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in engineering decisions working closely with the founders. You'll design, build, and ship product features end-to-end, many of which will be built on LLMs. Key focus areas include optimizing the ranking of profile results, adding new filters and data sources to the search engine, and improving the user onboarding experience in the first 5 minutes.
Recent projects have included fine-tuning models to extract relevant insights from profiles and building feedback loops for improving search queries. You'll work with a modern tech stack including Next.js, React, Node.js, OpenSearch (Elasticsearch), AWS SQS, Spark, and various inference providers and LLMs.
You will be hands-on, move fast, and own projects from conception to launch. This is an opportunity to have significant impact at a high-growth company backed by top venture capital firms.
Requirements:
- Experience building something from scratch (startup, project, or feature)
- Demonstrated excellence in education, work experience, projects, or other accomplishments
- Hands-on approach with ability to move fast and learn by building
- Comfort taking asymmetric bets
- Experience with core stack components: Next.js, AWS, or similar technologies
- Willingness to work hard and own projects end-to-end
