Salary: USD 200,000 - 240,000 / annual
Traba is building an AI operating system for the industrial supply chain, automating workflows across warehouses, manufacturers, logistics providers, and staffing operations. The company started as a fast-growing staffing platform and has expanded into AI agents that help industrial businesses automate manual workflows, derive data insights, and improve decision intelligence.
In this role, you'll build product on top of AI agents—taking frontier models and existing agent infrastructure and applying them across Traba's staffing marketplace to automate the pipeline that sources, vets, matches, and places workers on millions of shifts. This is a product-engineering role where you'll go where priorities are highest: some quarters that's an agent automating vetting or matching, others it's payments flows or platform infrastructure. You'll partner with the CTO on architecture and roadmap, and build the platform the rest of the company runs on.
You'll apply existing agents and frontier models across the full stack—worker app, business app, ops platform, marketplace—to automate vetting, matching, and fulfillment. You'll lead frontend and backend development while mentoring other engineers. You'll architect and build core systems including real-time matching, autonomous vetting pipelines, distributed systems, and APIs. You'll own product surfaces end-to-end, partnering closely with product and design teams.
The ideal candidate is an applier, not a researcher—someone who takes frontier models and existing agents and wires them into real product across the stack, shipping reliable automation rather than owning orchestration internals. You move easily between API design, UX, and deployment infrastructure. You have a proven track record of shipping scalable, performant applications from frontend interfaces to backend distributed systems in fast, ambiguous, early-stage environments.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of full-stack development across frontend and backend
- Proficiency in TypeScript, React/React Native, and Node.js or Python
- Strong experience with APIs, distributed systems, PostgreSQL, and messaging systems (Kafka or RabbitMQ)
- Hands-on experience integrating LLMs or agents into real product—prompting, tool wiring, evals; you've shipped AI features even if you didn't build the platform
- Track record of shipping scalable products in fast, ambiguous, early-stage environments
