Delinea is a cloud-native identity security platform that uses AI-powered intelligence to govern human and machine identities across modern enterprises. The Conduit team is building a cross-platform desktop application and unified CLI that gives users secure access to databases, servers, Kubernetes clusters, and other organizational assets.
As a Senior Software Engineer on Conduit, you will architect and develop secure, reliable client experiences using React Native and TypeScript. You'll work across the full application stack—desktop application, CLI, core connectivity capabilities, and Proxy SDK—while maintaining Delinea's security and architecture standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Architecting and developing a secure, reliable cross-platform desktop application aligned with Delinea's security standards
- Developing and evolving the Delinea CLI as a unified entry point for platform capabilities
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for macOS and Windows releases
- Collaborating with engineers, architects, product managers, and designers to define technical roadmaps
- Conducting code and design reviews emphasizing performance, security, reliability, and maintainability
- Providing technical mentorship to engineering peers and fostering continuous improvement
You will report to the team's engineering manager and play a key role in delivering high-quality, unified experiences for interacting with the Delinea platform.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related technical field
- Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience building complex client applications
- Proficiency with TypeScript/JavaScript and modern frameworks (React, React Native)
- Experience designing and integrating applications with APIs and distributed backend services
- Experience developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining complex applications across multiple system boundaries
- Strong understanding of software architecture, secure development practices, and client/server communication
- Experience collaborating across engineering, product, and design teams on complex software projects
- Ability to navigate ambiguous technical problems, evaluate tradeoffs, and learn new technologies
Desirable qualifications:
- Experience with React Native or cross-platform desktop application development
- Experience building command-line tools, SDKs, or developer-facing products
- Experience with Rust or other systems programming languages
- Background in security, identity, privileged access management, or zero-trust products
- Knowledge of observability frameworks (Datadog, OpenTelemetry)
