As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will be a smart, quality-focused product thinker who is business-conscious—not merely a coder. You'll have strong technical context and experience to write and build quality software at scale. The role expects you to influence company culture and help shape it positively.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drive product and design discussions
- Scale payment infrastructure to enable online payments across India
- Shape REST APIs for developers worldwide
- Contribute to open-source projects and set standards for mobile payments
- Brainstorm and create new strategic directions for Razorpay's payment solutions
- Build features from scratch and drive them to completion

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of experience in technology
- Strong product design sense
- Experience with programming languages: PHP, Python, Django, Golang, Java, or C++
- Ability to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and develop effective solutions
- Good understanding of REST APIs and web fundamentals
- Ability to build features from scratch and drive to completion
- Willingness to learn new technologies
- GitHub portfolio with weekend side projects
- Contributions to open-source projects
- Prior experience at a product company
- Working knowledge of backend programming languages
