Snowflake is hiring a Senior Security Engineer for its Enterprise Security team to protect the company, employees, and customers in an era of AI-driven threats and cloud complexity.
In this role, you will deploy, maintain, and scale endpoint security solutions including EDR, DLP, secure browser, MDM, and AI security tools across multi-cloud and multi-SaaS environments. You'll contribute to architecture decisions as the team grows. You will build automation and tooling using software engineering and AI to reduce operational toil, improve detection fidelity, and accelerate incident response. Your responsibilities include monitoring security events, investigating incidents, and building detection and prevention controls to protect against endpoint compromise and data exfiltration.
You will run risk and threat analyses on the endpoint fleet and drive remediation of vulnerabilities through to resolution, applying zero-trust principles to reduce attack surface. You'll help write and roll out security policies, procedures, and standards for endpoint protection aligned with compliance frameworks. Collaboration is key: you'll work with Security, Engineering, IT, and Product partners to implement secure practices and provide technical guidance to employees and end users. You'll uphold high standards in threat modeling, detection quality, and incident response, sharing knowledge with teammates through reviews and documentation.
Snowflake is one of the fastest-growing enterprise software companies in history, and Enterprise Security is central to protecting the company and its customers. You'll work alongside strong engineers in a globally distributed, multi-cloud, multi-SaaS environment, building security capabilities at scale and speed few companies reach.
