Bitwarden is a trusted identity security leader serving millions of users worldwide with password management, secrets management, and passwordless/passkey solutions. As a Senior SDET, you will be a foundational member of Bitwarden's India Engineering Centre of Excellence, driving quality and automation across web, browser extension, mobile, desktop, and CLI applications.
You will design and implement robust, scalable test automation frameworks using C# with Selenium and Appium. Your responsibilities include developing automated test scripts across multiple application types, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with development and QA teams to identify comprehensive test scenarios, analyzing test results to surface defects and performance issues, and reviewing test automation code to maintain high standards. You will establish testing guidelines and processes for community and internal contributions, participate in Agile ceremonies, mentor junior team members on automation best practices, and document frameworks to support knowledge sharing.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 4–7 years of substantial production test-automation experience with strong C# proficiency
- Senior automation architecture capability: design of scalable, reusable, maintainable frameworks with readable, testable code and robust debugging across multiple application types
- CI/CD integration ownership: embedding automated tests into build/delivery pipelines and maintaining stability and reliability
- Solid command of software testing principles and methodologies with clear collaboration in distributed, cross-functional teams
- Mobile test automation with Appium
- Remote/cloud device and browser testing (Sauce Labs, BrowserStack, or similar)
- Experience testing and integrating with backend/API services
- Mentoring junior automation engineers and reviewing test code
- Experience working in global, distributed technical teams
- Preferred: SaaS, security, identity, privacy, or developer-facing product experience; hands-on AI/ML experience beyond tooling (evaluating or applying AI-generated tests)
