Salary: USD 191,000 - 253,000 / annual

The Business Systems team builds and improves systems enabling Anduril's mission across supply chain, accounting, sales & growth, engineering, modeling & simulation, field maintenance, manufacturing, and other departments. This role focuses on building a robust suite of Salesforce products and functionality to support Growth, Business Development, Legal, Investor Relations, Deployment Operations, and other teams who rely on Salesforce as their central platform.
In this role, you will:
- Partner with the Salesforce Product Manager to align the platform with business objectives and architect scalable solutions
- Design and customize Salesforce solutions on Salesforce Government Cloud Plus, adhering to industry best practices
- Support CRM Analytics (CRMA) and configure new analytics dashboards, managing and creating data recipes as needed
- Collaborate with developers to implement custom solutions ensuring scalability and maintainability
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including system architecture, configurations, and customizations
- Automate business processes using Salesforce automation tools (Process Builder, Formulas, Flow, Assignment Rules, Validation Rules, Approval Processes, Email and Slack alerts)
- Build integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST, SOAP APIs, OAuth, and SSO
- Partner with internal integration teams when Salesforce needs to consume or push data to other internal platforms (e.g., ERP)
- Migrate changes from development/testing environments to production and conduct required smoke testing
- Provide support to end-users, fostering a culture of self-sufficiency and user adoption
- Adhere to defined coding standards, maintain code documentation, and develop well-structured, maintainable, scalable, and easy-to-understand code
- Determine when Apex code is needed, always seeking low-code/no-code options when realistic
- Perform data updates and migration using Data Loader as needed
- Interface with Salesforce data backup and recovery tools
- Stay current with new Salesforce technologies, platform enhancements, releases, and industry trends; implement best practices and engage in regular Salesforce release readiness activities
REQUIREMENTS:
- 6–8 years of total IT experience with at least 5+ years of Salesforce platform development experience
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
- Strong Salesforce customization and configuration experience, preferably in Sales Cloud; Government Cloud experience preferred
- Experience with CRMA tools and methodologies (CRM Analytics, formerly Tableau CRM/Einstein Analytics)
- Hands-on development experience using Salesforce configuration and customizations including Apex, Triggers, Scheduled and Batch classes, Process Builder, Formulas, Flow, Approval Processes, Validation and Assignment Rules
- Development experience in UI technologies: Bootstrap, Lightning Design System (LDS), Lightning Components Development, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML/CSS
- Proven integration experience using REST, SOAP APIs, OAuth, and SSO
- Experience with Standard/Custom Object creation and relationships
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and DevOps tools (e.g., JIRA)
- Thorough understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery/Deployment and tools such as GitHub Actions
- Proven ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce and all upstream and downstream applications, flows, and processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills (both written and oral)
- Strong preference for Salesforce developer certifications: Certified Platform Developer I, and Certified Platform Developer II a plus
- Aerospace and Defense industry experience a major plus
- Bonus points for NetSuite integrations experience and solution architect experience
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
