Rohlik is seeking a Senior Sales and Operations Planning Analyst to build and own the end-to-end demand forecasting function across its European operations. This is a founding-member role in a newly established department, offering significant autonomy to shape processes and drive automation.
You will own the daily and weekly production of group demand forecasts (orders, SKU/order, and intraday shapes) across all markets, fulfillment centers, and planning horizons. Key responsibilities include:
- Demand Forecasting: Produce and maintain order- and revenue-level demand forecasts feeding the S&OP cycle across 5 countries and 12 fulfillment centers, targeting 98% accuracy.
- Accuracy & Bias Ownership: Drive forecast accuracy performance by market and horizon; conduct root-cause analyses on deviations and implement corrective actions.
- S&OP Core Analysis: Build and own the demand review pack and scenario models for the S&OP cycle, including quantified upside and downside cases.
- Operational Alignment: Translate agreed demand into actionable inventory, warehouse workload, labor, throughput, and delivery requirements.
- Automation & Optimization: Proactively drive automation of manual routines (mass-upload/locking, demand-chaser redesigns, automated AOV forecasting) alongside BI and Engineering teams.
- Executive Decision Support: Prepare daily and weekly data, analysis, and options for executive updates and S&OP governance.
- Peaks & Campaigns: Lead forecasting prep for campaigns, seasonal transitions, and peak events with documented assumptions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with market planners, Category, Marketing, Fulfillment, Last Mile, and BI teams to collect quantified inputs and maintain planning data integrity.
- Governance & Resilience: Identify and flag process gaps to build departmental resilience.

- Ability to specify tooling improvements and drive automation alongside engineering/BI teams
- Working knowledge of BI and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar)
- Proven ability to enforce standards and deadlines across multiple markets while communicating analytic insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Fluent English
Preferred:
- Background in online grocery or fresh/perishable goods retail
- Prior exposure to an established S&OP / IBP cycle
- Experience converting demand forecasts into labor, fulfillment, or transport requirements
- Scripting or automation experience (Python or similar) beyond standard spreadsheets
- Knowledge of Czech or Slovak
