As a Senior RF Test Engineer at Impulse Space, you will own RF test strategy, automation infrastructure, and system-level validation for wireless spacecraft and ground communication systems. You will work closely with RF, embedded, software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to define test requirements, develop scalable validation infrastructure, and drive reliability across a wide range of RF hardware.
This role is focused on RF test architecture, automation, production validation, and characterization of wireless communication systems including GNSS receivers, radios, antennas, and modulated communication waveforms. You will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing RF test strategies and validation methodologies
- Building and maintaining test automation infrastructure for scalability and repeatability
- Performing system-level validation and characterization of RF hardware and communication systems
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (RF, embedded, software, mechanical, manufacturing) to define comprehensive test requirements
- Ensuring reliability and quality across RF hardware components and subsystems
- Driving production validation processes
This is an individual contributor role with significant technical scope and influence across RF validation efforts.
