You will join Adyen's dynamic APAC Regulatory team as a Senior Regulatory Counsel, based in Singapore. In this role, you will provide strategic regulatory advice to internal and external stakeholders, enabling Adyen to create unique business opportunities while maintaining ethical standards and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include: - Provide strategic regulatory advice aligned with Adyen's commercial and strategic objectives to support scalable growth - Lead regulatory engagements with both internal teams and external parties, including managing relationships with regulators and auditors - Anticipate and identify key regulatory obligations and integrity risks, addressing them in practical and scalable ways - Translate identified regulatory obligations into relevant policies and procedures for communication and implementation across the global business - Represent the Regulatory function across various work streams and products to establish regulatory strategies that align with global objectives and ensure controlled, compliant growth Adyen values diverse perspectives and maintains an office-first culture with a focus on in-person collaboration. REQUIREMENTS: - Qualified lawyer in a commonwealth jurisdiction (e.g., Singapore, Hong Kong, UK, Australia) - 10+ years of experience in regulatory and/or legal functions focused on payments, financial services, and/or fintech industry - Strong knowledge of the payments, financial services, and/or fintech industry - Strong sense of initiative, independence, and ability to take ownership in a fast-growing business - Analytical and critical thinking skills with ability to find creative solutions for complex regulatory challenges - Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience managing relationships with internal stakeholders, regulators, or supervisors - Must reside in Singapore
