Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join the Margin team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of margin trading products and risk systems across the full software development lifecycle.
In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks and tools using Java or Rust to test complex trading workflows, risk controls, and high-concurrency systems. You will work closely with software engineers, product managers, designers, and operations teams to provide insights on system design and testing strategies for margin trading products and risk control features.
Key responsibilities include:
- Participating in the full SDLC from requirements analysis and test planning through execution, defect tracking, and maintenance
- Setting up and managing testing environments with detailed test plans for complex trading workflows, margin calculations, liquidation processes, and high-concurrency systems
- Performing extensive testing including black-box, white-box, security, automation, and performance testing across web, mobile, backend, and distributed systems
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide feedback on implementation and testing strategies
- Staying current with Java/Rust technologies and testing methodologies to continuously improve automation frameworks and product quality
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in QA Automation or Software Testing, preferably in tech, fintech, or trading platforms
- Strong programming skills in Java or Rust
- Familiarity with automated testing methodologies, distributed systems, and high-concurrency architectures
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills for debugging performance and system issues
- Familiarity with AI tools or large language models is a plus
