We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in test automation across UI and API layers. You will design, develop, maintain, and execute automated tests for enterprise applications while building scalable, maintainable automation frameworks using modern practices and software engineering principles.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and develop automated tests for UI and API applications
- Build scalable automation frameworks applying design patterns, coding standards, and best practices
- Develop automated regression, integration, functional, and end-to-end test scenarios
- Collaborate with QA Engineers, Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to define testing strategies
- Analyze test results, identify defects and risks, and provide technical recommendations
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration of automated testing
- Support continuous improvement of automation frameworks, test coverage, and reporting
- Create clear test documentation and technical reports
- Participate in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
- Support testing across enterprise applications including Salesforce, MuleSoft, and Oracle Fusion
This role works in a highly collaborative, global environment focused on enterprise platforms and integrations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in QA and test automation
- Strong hands-on experience with UI and API test automation
- Strong programming/development knowledge, particularly in JavaScript/TypeScript or similar languages
- Good understanding of software development principles and design patterns applicable to test automation
- Experience designing or contributing to automation frameworks
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies (functional, regression, integration, end-to-end)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, written and verbal
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Hands-on experience with Playwright
- Experience with Cucumber/BDD
- Experience with Allure Reports or similar test reporting solutions
- Experience with CI/CD servers and pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
- Experience with Salesforce testing
- Experience with MuleSoft and integration testing
- Experience with Oracle Fusion (HCM, P2P, R2R, Tax Management modules)
- Experience with e-commerce testing including customer journeys, checkout, payments, orders
- Experience testing complex enterprise integrations and distributed systems
- Experience with test automation in cloud-based environments
