You will join the Integration team as a Senior Python Engineer, owning critical backend integrations that power the product. This team is responsible for integrations with KYC providers, geolocation services, payment methods, and other external systems essential to product operation and user experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Full ownership of backend features from design through implementation, deployment, and production support
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services using Python and Django
- Build and maintain integrations with external systems including KYC, geolocation, and payment partners
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to scope and deliver new integrations
- Implement observability across integration flows with monitoring, logging, and alerting
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and improve test coverage
- Support production issues and participate in on-call rotations

REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5+ years of development experience with Python as primary language
- Strong experience in API and system integrations
- Proven experience integrating third-party APIs with deep understanding of webhooks, callbacks, idempotency, and failure handling
- Payments and KYC integrations are a strong plus
- Experience with observability tools to monitor and troubleshoot production integrations
- Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and concurrency
- Experience in architecture design of highly loaded and scalable solutions
- Strong understanding of full software development lifecycle from requirements analysis to deployment and production monitoring
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience in early-stage startups and fast-paced engineering environments
- Experience writing automated tests, measuring test coverage, and defining test automation strategies
- Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, CloudWatch, Grafana
- Experience in sports/betting industries
