Nuitée is building the API backbone for the global travel industry—a "Stripe for Travel" that connects hotels, OTAs, fintechs, super-apps, and businesses to seamless travel infrastructure. You'll join the Connect domain, the heart of the platform where hotel supply from hundreds of fragmented suppliers becomes one clean, scalable API. This is where the company connects to suppliers, prices and serves inventory at scale, and makes travel data usable in real time.
As a Senior Product Engineer, you'll own the full lifecycle—from idea to production—building new capabilities and scaling systems that partners rely on daily. You'll work without detailed specs, moving from concept to design, implementation, and real usage. You're accountable for whether what you ship creates genuine value.
The problems are genuinely hard: latency, correctness, cost, and supplier limits all pull in different directions. You'll tackle challenges like taking fragmented, inconsistent data from hundreds of suppliers and serving it reliably through a clean API; caching and delivering pricing matrices covering 100k+ hotels for real-time partner use; answering multi-supplier rate requests within strict latency budgets while protecting supplier QPS and system stability; and harmonizing data across suppliers (including room mapping) using LLM-assisted approaches.
What makes this interesting: you can move extremely fast with very little red tape. Teams make their own product decisions. A good idea in the morning can be in production by the evening, with many iterations shipping in days rather than months. You own the path to the outcome, agreeing on success metrics and deciding with your team how to get there. You'll work on genuinely hard engineering problems involving caching, multi-supplier pricing, data pipelines, and routing under strict latency budgets. You'll also help shape how the company builds as it scales from roughly €1B in booking value toward €10B, setting engineering and product standards for the next phase.
Nuitée is fast-moving, low on process, and high on ownership. The role suits people comfortable with ambiguity, pace, and responsibility. It's less suited to those who prefer structured environments with clearly defined scope from day one.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Senior, hands-on backend engineer with experience in Go (or willing to pick up Go from C#, Java, C++, or similar backgrounds)
- Track record of building products or major features from scratch
- Think in terms of outcomes and user value, not just implementation
- Comfortable working without clear specs or structure
- Ability to make pragmatic tradeoffs and move fast
- Experience with APIs, data-heavy systems, or distributed environments
- Take ownership beyond your scope and push things forward
