NetBox Labs is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead design across a suite of network management and observability applications. The company builds products on top of the NetBox data model—including interactive network maps, compliance validation tools, analytics platforms, and AI-driven workflows—that help network teams operationalize their infrastructure data.
In this role, you will own end-to-end design for platform applications such as Analytics, Visual Explorer, Validation, and AI-driven workflows used directly by customers. You will design how these applications interact with each other, NetBox, and observability products. Your work will translate complex data sets, visualizations, and multi-step workflows into clear, usable interfaces for network engineers and architects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own design for multiple interconnected platform applications
- Design interactions between applications, NetBox, and observability products
- Plan and execute user research (qualitative and quantitative) to inform product decisions
- Rapidly prototype ideas using AI tools, code, or Figma to validate concepts with users and engineers
- Contribute to and evolve the design system in Figma and Storybook component library
- Shape how the design team leverages AI in its process
- Help define long-term platform vision beyond your immediate product area
- Improve how product analytics inform design decisions
- Design in the open, sharing work early and keeping stakeholders aligned

REQUIREMENTS:
- 8+ years of product design experience, including enterprise-grade B2B software
- Experience designing for technical users (network, DevOps, security, or infrastructure engineers)
- Track record of taking products from MVP to GA, including shaping first release and carrying design through launch
- Comfort with complex data sets, data visualization, and multi-step workflows
- Strong visual design and interaction design skills, demonstrated in portfolio
- Hands-on experience planning and running user research, and acting on insights
- Active, effective use of AI in design work with examples of process improvement
- Prototyping skills in any form (AI tools, code, Figma)
- Experience working on a design team inside a scale-up alongside other designers
- Strong collaboration and communication skills; habit of designing in the open
- Experience improving how a team works, not just what it ships
- Able to work with significant overlap with US Eastern and UK hours
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience designing observability, monitoring, or compliance products
- Experience with network management or infrastructure software
- Experience with product analytics tools such as PostHog
- Familiarity with design systems built in Figma and Storybook
