Apex manufactures satellite buses (spacecraft platforms) at scale for the commercial aerospace industry. As a Graphic Designer supporting Business Development, you will create high-quality graphics and visual content to support proposals, presentations, and new business pursuits that win contracts across US Government, Commercial, and International Government markets.
You will work directly with the Business Development team to fulfill design requests for Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), and other business opportunities. Key responsibilities include creating and editing graphics and images for proposals; developing slide decks for current and prospective customers; overseeing and maintaining the proposal graphics library; partnering with Brand/Marketing to ensure all work aligns with brand guidelines; collaborating with a cross-functional design collective (Brand, BD, UX) to drive company-wide design excellence; translating technical concepts from engineering and subject matter experts into clear, digestible visual communications; and delivering high-caliber work on tight deadlines.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of experience in graphic design supporting a technical product and general business/administrative content
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, BD, marketing, etc.) under tight deadlines
- Meticulous, proactive, and highly organized
- Clear communicator (synchronous/asynchronous, in-person/virtual, written/spoken)
- Strong MS Word and PowerPoint skills
- Coachable and team-oriented; ability to give and receive constructive feedback
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines
- Nice to have: Figma experience
- Nice to have: Direct experience in spacecraft or spacecraft-adjacent markets
- ITAR requirement: Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or able to obtain required export authorizations
