Juniper Square is a leading operations platform for private markets, serving 2,300+ GPs with $300B+ under administration. The company unifies technology, data, and fund administration services, and is now embedding AI capabilities through JunieAI across its workflows. Founded in 2014, backed by $350M+ in funding, and now 1,000+ employees strong, Juniper Square operates across 27 US states, 2 Canadian provinces, India, Luxembourg, and England, with physical offices in San Francisco, New York City, Mumbai, and Bangalore.
You will join as a Senior Product Designer, an autonomous individual contributor embedded within a core product squad. This is a high-impact role where you will own the end-to-end user experience for your product area, drive meaningful contributions to the design system, and partner closely with product managers and engineers.
Key responsibilities include:
• Own the complete design workflow end-to-end—producing work in the form that best serves the team and engineering, whether annotated flows, coded prototypes, LLM-generated specs with design system context, or polished Figma files. Ensure handoffs to engineering are complete, accurate, and consistent with the design system.
• Tackle hard problems in your product domain and deliver solutions that feel simple and intuitive, even when working with sophisticated financial data and workflows.
• Design for AI-driven features across the product suite, including proactive recommendations, generative summaries, and predictive insights. Get trust and transparency details right so features feel reliable to enterprise customers.
• Conduct research and interpret product analytics to uncover real user needs and measure design impact. Talk directly with customers and run quick tests, treating research as a velocity tool.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align on strategy and ensure design execution serves both business and user needs.
• Continuously improve and expand the design system, advocating for consistency and pattern reuse. Collaborate with peers on the design team to give and receive feedback.
AI fluency is a baseline expectation. You should be comfortable across modern design tools, including AI—starting in an LLM to frame a problem, building quick prototypes in Cursor or Claude Code to explore interactions, or moving to Figma for polished developer references. The expectation is sound judgment about what will achieve the best outcome for customers and the team.
The company offers flexible work arrangements, ranging from fully remote to full-time office work. There is a preference for candidates based in the SF Bay Area to facilitate in-person collaboration with local teams, though the role can be performed remotely.
