Salary: USD 170,000 - 200,000 / annual
EliseAI is a venture-backed AI company ($4B valuation, $350M Series funding from a16z and Bessemer) focused on deploying AI agents into housing and healthcare workflows. The company simplifies renter experiences (apartment tours, lease signing, maintenance requests) and healthcare operations (appointment scheduling, intake forms, patient-provider communication).
As Senior Product Designer, you will shape the user experience of the accounting platform, balancing visual craft with systems thinking to create intuitive solutions for complex finance and accounting workflows. You'll work closely with product, engineering, and client-facing teams to iterate quickly, respond to feedback, and ensure refined experiences across all touchpoints.
Key responsibilities include:
- Translating business requirements, technical constraints, and end-user needs into elegant design solutions that simplify complex problems
- Building prototypes and interactive flows to communicate ideas and gather early feedback
- Collaborating with product and engineering to scope, prioritize, and deliver work on schedule
- Leading projects independently from concept through implementation
- Contributing to and evolving design systems for consistency and efficiency
- Introducing processes and design frameworks that improve cross-team collaboration and execution speed
You'll work autonomously within your domain, expected to lead and introduce frameworks that accelerate outcomes and improve quality. The role is based at EliseAI's Midtown South NYC headquarters with an expectation of 4-5 days per week in-office presence.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional design experience in B2B SaaS environments
- Proven track record solving complex, multi-persona problems
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently and proactively create impact
- Strong communicator and collaborator with cross-functional teams
- Strong visual judgment with attention to detail and quality
- Fluent in AI prototyping tools like Claude Design
- Willing to work in-person at NYC headquarters 4-5 days per week
Bonus qualifications:
- Accounting and finance subject matter expertise
- Experience designing in fast-paced startup environments
- Basic HTML/CSS skills or front-end knowledge to prototype ideas
