Clueso is hiring a Senior Product Designer to own critical product areas across AI creation workflows, the editor, reusable video systems, and team collaboration. This is a hands-on individual contributor role reporting to Ajinkya Gajbhiye, Head of Design, working directly with founders and engineers.
You will own the full design lifecycle: discovering and framing problems through user research, designing end-to-end experiences (research, exploration, information architecture, flows, prototypes, final designs), and shipping production-quality work. Key responsibilities include making complex AI-assisted creation feel approachable, designing how users express intent and refine AI-generated video work, building clear mental models for powerful creative capabilities, and crafting interfaces with intentional typography, hierarchy, composition, spacing, motion, and interaction details.
You'll drive decisions through shipping by seeking early input, communicating progress, surfacing risks, and collaborating with engineering on constraints and trade-offs. You'll also build scalable design patterns, extend the component library and design system, and learn from customer feedback and product metrics to iterate.
Clueso is a Y Combinator-backed company (rated 4.8 on G2, #1 Product of the Day on Product Hunt) with 35 people, real customers, and momentum. The design team is small (4 people total), so you'll have meaningful influence on product direction and quality standards. The company believes design is central to winning in the age of AI—as capabilities become more accessible, thoughtful UX, craft, and taste differentiate the product.
Benefits include catered lunch and dinner daily and team offsites.
