SumUp is a fintech company empowering small businesses globally with payment solutions and financial tools. The Payments Tribe is seeking a Senior Product Data Analyst to serve as the architect of analytical narratives, bridging complex data and business decisions.
You will own the full lifecycle of data storytelling and visualization, working closely with Data Analytics Engineers. Key responsibilities include:
• Data Storytelling: Transform complex Payments metrics into clear, decision-ready narratives for non-technical stakeholders.
• Dashboard Redesign: Streamline the Tableau environment so core stakeholders can assess performance in under 2 minutes without expert support.
• KPI Stewardship: Iterate on KPI hierarchies, defining North Star vs. diagnostic metrics, and documenting the logic behind them.
• Product Insights: Proactively surface opportunities and risks, shaping experiments and product priorities based on findings.
• Enable Self-Service: Establish templates and standards for dashboard structure, naming, and annotations to build a consistent data culture across the tribe.
You will focus 100% on insights, visualization, and product experimentation while partnering with engineers on data infrastructure.
SumUp operates globally with 3,000+ employees across 4 continents, serving 4+ million merchants in 35+ markets. The company was founded in 2012 and is headquartered in Europe with teams across Europe, South America, and the United States.
