Scopely, a leading mobile games publisher home to MONOPOLY GO!, Pokémon GO, and other major titles, is seeking a Director of Creative Intelligence to lead strategy, measurement, and tooling for their Barcelona studio on a hybrid basis. The Creative Intelligence team sits within Performance Marketing and is responsible for creating tools and analyzing creative data to improve marketing and user acquisition strategy across Scopely's entire game portfolio. This role leads an advanced marketing analytics function that uses tagging, performance data, research, experimentation, and AI to understand what drives creative success. Key responsibilities include: - Set Creative Intelligence strategy and roadmap: Define priorities, products, measurement needs, and team goals. Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team across creative analytics and AI enablement. - Measure creative success and support testing: Bring together tagging, performance data, audience research, competitive intelligence, and other signals to identify what drives performance and where opportunities exist. Recommend and support tests that answer key creative questions. - Guide games before launch: Use competitor intelligence, audience research, category trends, and portfolio data to identify creative whitespace and inform positioning, concepts, messaging, and naming. - Own the creative analytics product roadmap: Prioritize dashboards, stakeholder views, tagging, data quality, reporting, and self-service tools. Drive adoption and improvement across the portfolio. - Partner with Analytics: Articulate business questions, measurement needs, and desired outcomes. Secure support and drive projects through delivery, validation, and adoption. - Leverage AI: Use tools such as Claude to interrogate data, explore hypotheses, prototype analyses, automate reporting, and simplify competitor intelligence and recurring insights. - Build trust and turn insights into action: Develop strong partnerships across Marketing, Creative, Analytics, and game teams. Deliver clear recommendations, track influence on decisions, and measure impact. - Partner with Marketing and internal creative agency: Help marketers and creative teams use performance data and competitive intelligence to define strategy and make evidence-based changes. - Translate data into clear creative guidance: Turn complex performance data and analysis into simple explanations of what is working, why, and what teams should do next. Requirements: - Experience leading advanced marketing analytics, data science, marketing science, measurement, consumer insights, or a related function - Strong record of developing measurement frameworks and metrics that connect marketing or creative inputs to business outcomes - Experience using quantitative and qualitative evidence to answer ambiguous questions, with strong knowledge of experimentation, attribution, incrementality, benchmarking, and predictive analysis - Hands-on comfort with modern AI tools and technical fluency to partner effectively with Analytics, Data Science, and Engineering (SQL, Python, data pipeline, or business intelligence experience is valuable but not the primary responsibility) - Strong people leadership and analytics product ownership, paired with excellent communication, adaptability, urgency, follow-through, and a track record of earning trust across functions - Curious and resourceful problem solver who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys tackling new questions, and takes ownership of finding solutions
