monday.com is an AI work platform used by 250,000+ customers to bring people, workflows, and AI agents together on one flexible platform. The Infra Platform team builds the platform at the interface between R&D and Infrastructure, enabling engineering teams to own their cloud and Kubernetes resources themselves while giving infra teams the building blocks to create and evolve that interface. In this role, you will: - Design and build the platform that connects R&D and Infra, creating APIs, abstractions, and workflows that let teams safely create and manage their own cloud and Kubernetes resources from request to production, built on top of Terraform and Pulumi. - Build shared capabilities and abstractions that infra teams use to extend the platform and automate their own domains, with the Infra AI agents platform as a core example. - Design and build the Infra AI agents platform, including the runtime, tooling, and integrations that let infra teams create reliable agents with tool and API access, context and knowledge, permissions, and deployment capabilities. - Establish guardrails, evaluation, observability, and audit trails that enable teams to run agents and automated workflows safely against production systems. - Treat the platform as a product by gathering feedback from developers and infra teams, setting the roadmap, driving adoption, and measuring success through developer experience and time to production metrics. - Lead technical direction by owning architecture decisions, weighing trade-offs across teams, and leading multi-team initiatives from design to rollout. - Raise the technical bar through design reviews, mentoring engineers, and helping set standards across the organization. - Own the observability, reliability, and incident response of the platform to ensure teams can trust it. The team is distributed between Tel Aviv (headquarters) and Warsaw, Poland. You'll be based in Tel Aviv on a hybrid arrangement and work daily with teammates in Warsaw. Tech stack: AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform, Pulumi, Helm, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Docker, Datadog, Linux, Python, TypeScript, Go, and LLM/agent frameworks. REQUIREMENTS: - Hands-on experience building agentic systems: you've designed and shipped agents or agent-based tooling, and understand tool use, context management, failure modes, and why agents need guardrails, evaluation, and observability. - 6-8+ years of experience as a DevOps, Infrastructure, or Platform Engineer, including experience leading technical initiatives, owning architecture decisions, or mentoring other engineers. - Experience building internal developer platforms or self-service tooling that other teams use, not just infrastructure for your own team. - Strong software engineering skills in at least one of Python, TypeScript, or Go; you'll write real code such as APIs, services, and automation. - Strong Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar) and understanding of how to build abstractions on top of it. - Solid Kubernetes and AWS knowledge, including networking, IAM, security, and cost management. - Experience with GitOps and CI/CD (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, or similar). - Product mindset: you design for your users, gather feedback, and care about adoption. - Strong communication skills, including clear written communication and ability to influence teams you don't manage. - Comfortable with high autonomy and ambiguity.
