Filigran is a global cybersecurity company founded in 2022, building open-source, AI-powered solutions for Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM). The company's eXtended Threat Management (XTM) platform combines threat intelligence, exposure validation, and cyber risk reduction to help organizations understand and act on their threat landscape.
As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will join the Platform Engineering team responsible for running, securing, and scaling the infrastructure behind the XTM Platform. The platform operates across diverse environments: Filigran's own bare-metal Kubernetes cloud, major public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), sovereign and regulated environments, and on-premises deployments for customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, build, and operate production Kubernetes clusters on bare-metal infrastructure and public clouds
- Roll out and operate Filigran products in new regions and on new providers as the SaaS footprint expands
- Develop and maintain deployment mechanisms: Helm charts, Ansible automation, CI/CD pipelines, and virtual appliances for on-premises environments
- Ensure SaaS instance availability and reliability through observability, monitoring, capacity planning, incident management, and post-incident reviews
- Harden the platform to meet regulated environment requirements (FedRAMP, SecNumCloud)
- Integrate AI agents into daily work—writing infrastructure code, investigating incidents, drafting runbooks—while maintaining accountability for reviewed and shipped work
- Design agent-friendly repositories, documentation, and guardrails to enable safe team contributions
- Own problems end-to-end: scope, propose approaches, and document decisions for future work
You will report to the Director of Platform Engineering and collaborate with a 15-person Platform Engineering team across three verticals, working closely with technical product managers, fellow platform engineers (including staff engineers), software development teams, and customer support. On-call rotation is approximately one daytime shift and one night shift every two weeks, plus one weekend every six weeks; night and weekend on-call is compensated.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer, SRE, DevOps, or Cloud Engineer
- Hands-on experience running Kubernetes in production (operating and troubleshooting clusters, not just deploying)
- Strong Ansible skills and experience writing and maintaining Helm charts
- Solid Linux and networking fundamentals
- Comfortable working on at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) or strongly willing to learn
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar) and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Security mindset: think about secrets, access, network exposure, and blast radius by default
- AI-oriented mindset: already use AI tools and agents in work, or eager to start, with critical review of output
- Willingness to code: no specific language required, but will read and write scripts and tooling (mostly Python)
- Comfortable in remote-first, asynchronous team with strong sense of ownership, autonomy, and team spirit
- Full professional proficiency in English
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with bare-metal or on-premises infrastructure (networking, storage, cluster lifecycle)
- Terraform experience, especially for cloud infrastructure
- Infrastructure security experience (hardening, software supply chain, vulnerability management) or CKS certification
- Experience with regulated or compliance-heavy environments (FedRAMP, SecNumCloud, ISO 27001)
- Operating backing services (Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Redis, S3-compatible storage)
- Hands-on experience designing skills, workflows, or guardrails for AI agents
- Fluency in French
