As a Senior Platform Engineer in Pune, you will own the availability and reliability of Arkose Labs' production systems. This is a hands-on technical role focused on cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and modern DevOps practices supporting rapidly scaling applications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure
- Improve platform reliability by identifying and addressing architectural gaps that could cause outages
- Develop tooling, automation, and circuit breakers to help the platform adapt to evolving attack patterns
- Establish GitOps workflows and deployment automation with blue-green/canary deployment strategies
- Enhance the OpenTelemetry-based observability stack with actionable signals
- Architect and manage Kubernetes clusters for containerized application deployment
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
- Work closely with application development teams to achieve scalability, reliability, and latency goals
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure
- 3+ years of hands-on production experience with Kubernetes
- Strong AWS expertise
- Proven experience with high-volume, high-uptime services
- Experience implementing cluster monitoring, logging, and tracing
- Proficiency in at least one of: Golang or Python
- Deep experience managing production Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS)
- Knowledge of GitOps processes and GitHub Actions
- Strong Infrastructure as Code skills using Terraform
- Experience with modern SaaS-based software stacks
Nice-to-have skills: ScyllaDB, OpenTelemetry, CDN providers, service mesh technologies (Istio), ArgoCD, Claude code expertise.
