As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for providing a world-class developer experience to the engineering team. Your primary focus will be enabling a DevOps culture and building infrastructure solutions that allow software engineers to ship products quickly, securely, and reliably.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing high-quality infrastructure-as-code templates and modules using Terraform, empowering engineers to self-serve their infrastructure needs
- Implementing AWS multi-account core infrastructure with security best practices across the cloud estate
- Authoring and optimizing CI/CD templates to enable frequent, safe releases
- Designing and implementing a developer portal with service catalog and DevOps plugins
- Contributing to observability best practices, defining SLI/SLO metrics, and helping teams balance velocity with reliability
- Developing internal and open-source projects to enhance developer experience
You will have autonomy to solve fascinating infrastructure problems and will work in a hybrid model with flexibility in how, where, and when you work.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong working knowledge of AWS services: ECS, EC2, Lambda, VPC, IAM, Route53, CloudFront, S3, RDS
- Good understanding of monitoring and logging solutions (OpenTelemetry, AWS CloudWatch, SigNoz experience a bonus)
- Basic SRE knowledge with experience in alerting and incident management platforms (e.g., incident.io, PagerDuty)
- Proven ability to design and support strong, scalable CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency in Linux, Git, Docker, and scripting languages (Python, bash, Go); must be proficient in at least one modern programming language
- Strong experience defining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Comfortable with Agile development practices
- Genuine passion for developer experience and platform engineering as a discipline
- Strong appetite for learning and self-improvement
- Previous fintech experience is a bonus
