As Senior Operations Manager for Ground Operations, you will serve as the site leader responsible for the overall success of a warehouse facility. You will lead employee activity to achieve performance goals, oversee facility sort and driver launch operations, and coach supervisors and associates to hit key KPIs and OKRs. Your scope includes managing the operation's P&L, leading logistics oversight, and driving process improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and developing a high-performing team of supervisors and associates
- Coaching, training, and guiding supervisors and associates for career progression
- Using data to identify and execute process improvements with direct reports
- Generating programs and practices that deliver quality, speed, service, customer satisfaction, on-time delivery, and safety
- Creating and maintaining strategic relationships across Market, Region, and Central Operations teams
- Partnering with Client Operations to exceed expectations as a last-mile delivery partner
- Championing OSHA compliance and tracking incidents
- Leading cross-functional hiring, retention, coaching, and development efforts
- Driving efficiency and scalability initiatives (e.g., automated sortation implementation)
- Managing increased complexity at market level (hub-to-spoke, master sort facilities, high-volume operations)

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, OR 3-5 years of warehouse operations management experience
- Minimum 2 years leading and managing a team of direct and indirect reports
- 3+ years of experience in warehousing, inventory, or logistics
- Flexibility, innovation, and ability to manage staff, responsibilities, and priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
- Ability to effectively respond to and interact with staff at all levels
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Intermediate analytical skills with experience in Excel/Google Sheets
- Physical ability to stand for duration of shift, move boxes, bend, and frequently lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and evenings
