As a Senior Network R&D Engineer, you will design and develop network infrastructures that enable Exotec's robotic warehouse systems to operate reliably at scale. The role sits within the R&D team responsible for the core network systems powering logistics automation.
Key responsibilities:
- Design robust and reliable network solutions for complex warehouse environments
- Lead the design and evolution of network infrastructure aligned with product roadmap
- Propose innovative improvements to optimize performance and security
- Automate network management and establish engineering best practices
- Anticipate risks and make critical technical decisions
- Support project teams with technical guidance, task allocation, and needs assessment
- Serve as primary technical interface with internal teams, partners, and vendors
- Produce high-quality deliverables including specifications, documentation, and training materials
- Contribute to technology monitoring and architecture simplification
- Occasional on-call support duties
Requirements:
- Confirmed experience in network infrastructure
- Proficiency with cloud environments (AWS preferred)
- Automation and scripting skills (Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform)
- Strong Linux and container knowledge
- Autonomy, adaptability, and collaborative mindset
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
