Salary: USD 125,000 - 147,500 / annual
Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company building energy-efficient solutions to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. The company owns and operates each layer of the stack—from electrons to tokens—to address the critical bottleneck of power in AI compute.
You will support the design, deployment, and ongoing operation of corporate network infrastructure across offices, warehouses, and data centers. This role bridges intermediate and senior-level responsibilities, with a clear path toward full Senior Network Engineer scope as you grow.
Key responsibilities include:
• Design, implement, and support network infrastructure across all corporate locations, managing the full site-build lifecycle: topology design, IP/VLAN/subnet planning, wireless planning, redundancy and failover strategies, bill of materials, expansions, migrations, and refreshes.
• Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot the complete network stack (firewalls, switches, wireless), serving as an escalation point for complex issues, driving root cause analysis, and participating in on-call and after-hours support.
• Ensure network configurations align with security policies, support audits and vulnerability remediation, and assist with security system integrations (cameras, access control).
• Configure SaaS integrations (SSO, SCIM, OIDC, OAuth—primarily Okta) and build automations and workflows using low-code and API tools like Workato and Postman, in partnership with IT and Security teams.
• Adopt an automation-first mindset: proactively identify opportunities to reduce manual work and stay current on AI-assisted tools for IT infrastructure and operations.
• Maintain comprehensive network documentation (diagrams, IP schemas, VLAN assignments, rack elevations, port maps) and contribute to standardizing designs and deployment patterns.
• Collaborate with Senior Network Architects and Engineers on complex initiatives, liaise with vendors, ISPs, and carriers on circuit turn-ups, and mentor Network Analysts.
• Travel up to 20% as needed to support site deployments.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer in office, warehouse, or datacenter environments.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing.
• Solid knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocols.
• Experience with wired and wireless enterprise networks.
• Practical experience with circuit provisioning and carrier management.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot network connectivity issues efficiently using Wireshark.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
• Comfortable owning network components or projects end-to-end.
• Ability to work effectively across IT, Security, and Operations teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
Bonus qualifications:
• Cisco Meraki experience (firewall, switching, wireless).
• CCNA or equivalent certification.
• Experience with WAN technologies (MPLS, DIA, SD-WAN), VPNs, and monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with Lucid, Jira, IAM platforms (e.g., Okta, including SSO/SCIM/OIDC), low-code automation tools (e.g., Workato, Postman), and AI-assisted workflows.
